Did You Know about the latest Pest Control Innovations?

Rentokil offers flying insect control solutions for pest like flies.Flies can't eat solid food, so to soften it up, they vomit on it, stamp the vomit in until it's liquid, then suck it all back again, probably dropping some excrement at the same time.

One fly can carry 6 million bacteria on the outside and even more than 25 million bacteria on the inside;

Female houseflies can lay about 100 eggs per batch and up to 12-14 batches during its lifespan;

Mouse Monitoring Radar Unit for rodent pest control

  RADAR is the revolutionary solution for rodent control .
  In 'high risk' areas, such as food processing plants, computer sites and pharmaceutical manufacturers, the risk of rodent damage or contamination of product is so great that the presence of even a single mouse cannot be tolerated. Early warning of the presence of mice is crucial. This led to the development of Rentokil Pest Control's Mouse Monitor Unit, which offers a 24-hour monitoring capability.
  RADAR is the next logical step in the development of this rapid-response service for high-risk areas.
  RADAR incorporates two patented design elements unique to Rentokil Pest Control:

  • Pressure pad technology already proven in the Mouse Monitor Unit that detects even the smallest mice;
  • A method of dispensing carbon dioxide that ensures rapid and humane kill of trapped rodents.

As a rodent passes over a pressure pad in the centre of the passageway, a circuit is activated that releases the trap doors, immediately closing both entrances and trapping the rodent instantly inside a tightly-sealed chamber.

At the same time, the valve on a pressurised cylinder is locked open to fill the unit with carbon dioxide. This ensures that the trapped rodent is rapidly and humanely killed.

  A flashing LED and the sight of the closed red doors then alert the customer that a rodent has been caught and a Rentokil Pest Control service technician is called in to service the unit.
  Benefits:

  • Gives an effective 'early warning' system for detection and immediate removal of rodents.
  • Uses a "green" pesticide solution that kills rodents effectively, rapidly and humanely.
  • Eliminates the risk of product contamination from rodenticide baits or dead rodents.
  • Enables rodent control in high risk areas where conventional baiting is not allowed.
  • Allows Rentokil Pest Control staff to service the unit with minimal client disruption.
