- Flies are attracted to windows by both visible and UV light
- They become exhausted after trying to escape
- They then drop to the window sill where they look unsightly and may walk onto food displays
- Luminos Spyder works by capturing these exhausted flies
- The unit is positioned at the base of the window
- When flies drop they are channeled into the unit and captured on a concealed sticky film which prevents them from escaping.
- The film is progressively wound on so there is always a fresh adhesive surface to catch further flies.
